A Salon Style Exhibition November

Linden New Art Gallery, Domain House, Dallas Brooks Drive, South Yarra, Vic 3141.

Linden New Art Postcard Exhibition opened on November 10th 2017 to February 23rd, 2018, unfortunately I missed the opening but went a few days later. Work looks good, however Salon style presentation is not my preference and my work is up high about 2meters + which is not the ideal however thats the deal when you enter that style of show. You can see my fish in Japanese ink brush in the middle taken of the wall in the gallery. A good show and well worth the visit and the range and differing mediums is fascinating to contemplate. You know the great thing about art is that there is always someone who is a better drawer than you, :-) and I love that. I always enjoyed being humbled by something greater than my self, it inspires me to continue on.

The interesting constraint was that all submitted artwork for consideration had to be at 10 x 8 ", so to do a drawing to that dimension was always a challenge as generally my drawings are much bigger, going all the way up to from A4 to A2.

Commercial work continues for clients websites, kids portraits and small product work.
