Final preparations, Affordable Art Fair, Aug 27 - 30
Photos: Guy Little © 2026 Gone through 5 boxes of Hahnemuhle in a few days. That's right Irid Gallery which represents my work will be at this year’s Affordable Art Fair at the end of this month. Work continues on the Affordable Art Fair, the biggest time spent is in the synchronising of my work across websites and social media platforms and getting that consistency in terms of editions, sizes and prices. Ordered some framing samples from my framer in a black, Tasmanian Oak a

Affordable Art Fair Melbourne preparation July 2026
Sooooo disapointing England lost to Argentina in the World Cup, oh well let's hope they can beat France and get 3rd. I'll just have to wait another 60 years. Benching Rashford was a bad mistake. Guy Little © 2026 I've been very busy printing away on my Epson getting ready for the Affordable Art Fair in Melbourne in August at the Royal Exhibition Building in Carlton. Very grateful with all th

June 2026
What a disappointing experience. On 26th June I was contacted by the 2026 Mullins Photography Prize to say that I had been selected as a Finalist for the image below. I was excited. Then 9 hours later I was contacted to be informed that Muswellbrook Regional Arts Centre Gallery had erred and that I was now not a Finalist. Ringing around I discovered that I was not the only one and that many other photographers had also been mistakingly informed including a photographer friend

A structural May 2026
Been working on a long term structural project shooting a dam. Here are some of teh examples below. Shot on the Hasselblad. I really enjoy just being in my own world dealing with a austere subject and minimalise it. I particularly like the top image with the litttle rock on the step. I do like a diagonal. Guy Little © 2026 Guy Little © 2026 Guy Little © 2026 Guy Little © 2026 I really like this shot but so far I'm not happy with it so far. With the RAWS on the drone b

A very busy April 2026
Guy Little © 2026 Decided to go for a random ramble around western Victoria with a photographer friend. Not really knowing where we are going. Hunting. I was shooting in the other direction looking at a salt lake, when turning to check the the sun's position I noticed a glint on the horizon, turned my camera and put on a 250mm with a 2x teleconvertor and noticed a old broken windmill on the horizon. I used the car as a lens hood. I took the above shot which I was happy with.

Ramping things up in March 2026
Really ramped things up this month. And back on my train shooting project below and really refining my technique. Guy Little © 2026 Guy Little © 2026 Guy Little © 2026 Guy Little © 2026 Spent some time shooting in a redwood forest, and it all becomes about compost

February 2026
Motion experiments continue throughout Feb. Using the inbuilt 4 stop ND on the Fuji X100VI. Gee I'm loving this camera. Assessing print (below) for upcoming exhibition in Sydney, "Into the Wild" in June 11th. I ultimately decided not to use this image as one of the images in the exhibition. It's a subtle print and requires numerous testing to get this subtlety at its best and this is diffucult when the printer is interstate. The image below is one that I substituted instead a

Projects in January 2026
Work continues on a number of projects, Night Summer Train in bayside, and particularly in Cheltenham. Getting into the swing of hunting and being very quick and precise. Its not so much hunting as I have a very exact pre visualisation in mind prior and I stick at it until I get what I want. Still not completely happy witht the below mast shot and may redo this on the digital Hasselblad with a 250mm with the 2x teleconvertor. I feel the train shots are more successful and its

Bayside Photography Dec 2025
Guy Little © 2025 Guy Little © 2025 Some street photography bayside above using the Fuji X100VI. Composition is everything. Been working on a project capturing the feeling of summer in bayside Melbourne with my Fuji X100VI, some of the images below. Guy Little © 2025 Guy Little © 2025 Guy Little © 2025 I finally finished the BMW Mini shot below to my pre visualisation. still needs a few more interpretations and further shoo

Open Studio, Agata Mayes at Sophie Perez Studios, Hastings Nov 2025
Agata Mayes Open Studio @ Sophie Perez Studios, Hastings I went to Agata Mayes Studio at Open Studio at Sophie Perez Studios in Hastings, (images below}, and was very impressed. Good music, chicken sandwiches and yummy Agata made savory .round things. Her work is a bit mathamaticaly based. Her videos and animations are quite intricate and a small observations, fragments of her past and relationships with her father. I wonder if the work is trying to join the fragments togeth
