Open Studio, Agata Mayes at Sophie Perez Studios, Hastings Nov 2025
Agata Mayes Open Studio @ Sophie Perez Studios, Hastings I went to Agata Mayes Studio at Open Studio at Sophie Perez Studios in Hastings, (images below}, and was very impressed. Good music, chicken sandwiches and yummy Agata made savory .round things. Her work is a bit mathamaticaly based. Her videos and animations are quite intricate and a small observations, fragments of her past and relationships with her father. I wonder if the work is trying to join the fragments togeth

Night Photography Nov 2025
Guy Little Nov 2025 © I'm trying to get a very particular shot (above) here on the Hasselblad with a 250mm lens.. Still not there yet as I find this still too busy and so another visit is needed. When I shot this it was raining, so not ideal. Think I'll put the 2x teleconvertor on and the 250mm and get back even further to compress it even more, hopefully down to abstraction. All shots taken with a Hasselblad using various digital and analogue camera / lens combinations and F

Masters reflection Dec 2023
After looking at some of my past trauma while doing my Masters I've been reflecting a lot on watching both my parents pass on the same day with 2 hours and 40 minutes of each other while holding hands in bed in my parent home. I picked up my camera as my way of dealing with it. I was conscious on the quote by Jessie Stephens that "grief needs to move" . And how you move that is up to you.
